Astonishingly cinematic, With a Lightning Strike feels like a thousand-year-old album being created in the 21st century. From the album cover to the faintest background vocal, this album provides a deeply rich sound that toes the line between a phantom and a lightning bolt. The sonic personification of the gentlest violence. This is the music Billie Eyelash & Phoebe Bridge wish they were making.
