Slowly becoming one of my most listened to albums of the year. #[With a Lightning Strike] and #[When Your Heart Opens] are becoming some of my all-time favorite songs. Cheers.

Bumped down a half star based on replayability. Still an awesome album. Maybe still deserving of a 4.5 🤷🏻♂️

Astonishingly cinematic, With a Lightning Strike feels like a thousand-year-old album being created in the 21st century. From the album cover to the faintest background vocal, this album provides a deeply rich sound that toes the line between a phantom and a lightning bolt. The sonic personification of the gentlest violence. This is the music Billie Eyelash & Phoebe Bridge wish they were making.
