Okay yeah, we bumpin this one up half a star. #[CIRCUS MAXIMUS] & #[HYAENA] on my big speakers sound so cool.

Finding myself teetering between 4 and 4.5 for #[UTOPIA]. On one hand, it contains truly world-class production throughout with several awesome tracks. On the other, it really does not seem to take any step forward from Astroworld, Rodeo, or really any other Travis Scott project. #[UTOPIA] largely comes across to me as more of the same, and when you are an artist that has every resource imaginable at your disposal, it can feel lackluster and even disappointing to not attempt to evolve sound into uncharted territory. I’m not going to act like I didn’t thoroughly enjoy #[UTOPIA] though. I found #[MODERN JAM], #[DELRESTO (ECHOES)], and #[PARASAIL] to be incredible tracks, and the features from Drake and Cudi were very much appreciated as well.
