For a debut album this really hits the mark on so many fronts. Truly able to capture rage and sadness all in one album. Something rare with artists like Carti and others in the new rage scene.

For a debut album this really hits the mark on so many fronts. Truly able to capture rage and sadness all in one album. Something rare with artists like Carti and others in the new rage scene.
Now as an adult, I find myself feeling hesitance in my appreciation for an “edgy” album written by a teenager, that I enjoyed so much 10 years ago. The simple fact of the matter is this: XXXTENTACION was an artist in every sense of the word, and an exceptional one at that.
