This album surprised me a lot and took several listens to really appreciate. I find a lot of his work (at least the work that gets commercial play) boring or lacking something behind it, but this album felt different. Aside from a few staple party songs, the rest of the album has a much more exciting and engaging sound not because it’s so loud and upbeat but because it actually sounds like an album he had fun writing. I think it shows a lot of growth for his discography and career and I’m excited to see what he does next.

I mean… I like taste back and American girls. It’s overall a good listen but kind of lack luster

Missed the mark for me. I get what Harry was trying to do. He’s been headed this direction for a while now, but I think that this album just still didn’t have any one song that sells it for me. If you’re going to do pop music, you’ve got to produce hits. This didn’t produce a hit anywhere. “American Girls” is the closest he got. Good, not great.
