I just don’t think this album is anywhere near Beyoncé’s best work. It honestly frustrates me that *this* is what won her album of the year when Lemonade & Renaissance exist. Sure, it’s good. But she’s Beyonce. The bar is high. This album is interesting and I love the unique collaborations, but that doesn’t make it objectively great. I do love her rendition of “BLACKBIRD” and my personal favorite from the album is “II MOST WANTED” with Miley Cyrus, but frankly, I think it’s Miley who carried that song.
