Very nostalgic album for me because it came out a month before my freshman year of college. It also solidified Travis Scott as one of the biggest artists in the world, which is cool from one perspective (everybody I knew listened to Astroworld), but it also means it’s bound to be subject to some revisionist history. It’s not Travis Scott’s best album, but it defined a generation of hip hop that is still lurking.
